MalaMala is the largest privately owned game reserve in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Its sprawling 16 000 hectares lies on the Sand River and shares a common border with the famed Kruger National Park. MalaMala Main Camp.     

This lodge in the Mala Mala Game Reserve is situated on the banks of the Sand River. This area is abundant in shady trees, flat bush and riverine thicket. Guests can go on exciting game drives conducted from open 4x4 safari vehicles or night drives with the help of powerful spotlights. Breakfast and lunch are served in a charming air conditioned dining room overlooking the Sand River. Dinner is announced by the beating of traditional African drums and is served in an enclosed boma under the starlit African sky.

Sable Camp   

Sable Camp in the MalaMala Game Reserve features a traditional African boma, air-conditioned dining room. There is also a wooden deck with panoramic views of the surrounding bush, a swimming pool, and a lounge area with satellite television, continuous internet access, and a selection of books and wildlife videos. Sable Camp operates as a stand-alone camp and accommodates only 14 guests. Lodging is offered

in 5 suites and The Lions Den Suite, which accommodates 4 guests in 2 inter-leading rooms.
