Four Day Tour
Garden Route
& Extension to Port Elizabeth
Our 4-day tour is offered to the discerning traveller
who has the time to do full justice to the magic and diversity of
the Southern Cape. Awesome mountain passes, prehistoric caves, rugged
coastlines, indigenous forests, lakes and rivers, whales in season
and Cape Agulhas - the Southernmost point of the African continent
- are all a part of the tour. High standards of accommodation, excellent
cuisine, an experienced English speaking tour guide and an air-conditioned
microbus for a maximum of 7 persons combine to make this an unforgettable
touring experience.
Day 1
Our first day takes us from Cape Town to Oudtshoorn via Worcester
and Prince Albert, with scenery changing from lush vineyards to
the semi-arid desert landscapes of the Karoo.

Day 2
After a fascinating morning tour in Oudtshoorn we cross the Outeniqua
Pass to George, drive through the Wilderness and the Lake District
to Knysna South Africa- the heart of the South African Garden Route. Highlights include Cango
Caves, Ostrich farm, Knysna Lake District.
Overnight accommodation: Knysna
Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch
Day 3
Don't pack - relax! We are spending another night in Knysna to
take full advantage of all the area has to offer. Cross the Knysna
Lagoon by train, drawn by a steam locomotive at the start of a journey
to George on one of the most beautiful train routes in the world.
Overnight accommodation: Knysna
Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch
Day 4
On this last day of our journey we have an early start and prepare
for a full day as we return to the "Mother City" via the
tip of Africa.
