DAY 1 NAIROBI - SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
Morning drive from Nairobi to Samburu Game Reserve stopping at the Equator for a photo opportunity. Lunch at safari lodge, built on the Uaso Nyiro River. Late afternoon game viewing drive. Overnight at safari lodge. [LD]
DAY 2 SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
Early morning game viewing drive in Samburu. Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Samburu Ostrich, and Gerenuk are found only in this sanctuary. Return to lodge for a late breakfast. Rest of day at leisure. Overnight at safari lodge. [FB]
Day 3 Lake Nakuru
Drive through the town of Isiolo and along the Great Rift Valley to the picturesque Nyahururu Falls for a traditional Kenyan lunch prepared by the local chef who may also share some of her recipes. Overnight at lodge. [FB]
Day 4 Lake Nakuru
Morning bird and game viewing around the lake shore, home to tens of thousands of flamingo and other bird species. The Rothschild giraffe, black rhino and white rhino also exist in large numbers as Nakuru is a special sanctuary for these rare and endangered species. Overnight at lodge. [FB]
Day 5 Masai Mara Game Reserve
Drive along the floor of the Great Rift Valley and enter the Masai Mara Game Reserve, game viewing on the way to your safari lodge built overlooking the open plains. Late afternoon game viewing in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Overnight at lodge. [FB]
Day 6 Masai Mara Game Reserve
Early morning and late afternoon game viewing drives. Overnight at lodge. [FB]
DAY 7 MASAI MARA - NAIROBI
Return to Nairobi where the tour ends. [B]
